Celebrating Long Service
We are proud to recognise colleagues who have reached service milestones from 5 to 25 years. Each milestone reflects dedication, growth, and the valuable contributions our people make every day.
From those building their careers at five years, to colleagues sharing a decade or more of experience, through to those reaching 25 years of outstanding service—every journey matters. Your commitment, knowledge, and support help shape our organisation and inspire others.
Thank you for your continued dedication and for the difference you make.
Captured in the Quiet of Morning
One of our residents at Bandrum has a real passion for photography, often finding beauty in the quiet moments of the day. Recently in the early hours of the morning they captured this stunning image of a deer, peacefully standing in the stillness of Bandrum Grounds.
It’s a wonderful reflection of both their talent and the tranquil surroundings we are fortunate to enjoy here. Supporting residents to continue lifelong interests, like photography, allows them to express themselves, stay connected to what they love, and keep finding joy in everyday moments.
June this year marks a remarkable milestone as Bandrums proudly celebrates its 40th anniversary.
Since our beginnings in 1986, we have been dedicated to supporting individuals and communities through innovation, resilience, and a strong commitment to making a positive difference.
Over the past four decades, Bandrum has grown and evolved, adapting to changing needs while staying true to our core values of inclusivity, quality, and care.
This anniversary is an opportunity to reflect on our journey, recognise the achievements of those who have been part of our story, and look forward with ambition to the future.
We extend heartfelt thanks to our staff, partners, and the communities we serve for their continued support and contribution to our shared success.
We work in partnership with Fife Voluntary Action, supporting volunteering opportunities that bring people into the home and strengthen links with the local community. Volunteers play a valued role at Bandrum, offering companionship, shared activities and additional social connection that enhances residents’ quality of life.
Collaboration is something that is so important in every corner of care.
We are delighted to have a successful relationship with Fife Voluntary Action. Our volunteers bring such enrichment and value with each and every moment they kindly donate.
They are a hugely valued and welcome addition to our team here at Bandrum Nursing Home.
Thank you Mandy for not only being an incredible weekly contributor but also for being a fabulous model!
