Bandrum Nursing Home offers 88 beds, most of which are en-suite, providing comfortable, well-maintained accommodation within a safe and supportive environment. Our rooms are designed to promote privacy, dignity and independence, while allowing residents to feel at home.
Accommodation is provided across two distinct areas of the home, each tailored to meet specific needs. Orchard Park supports adults under 65, including those requiring continuing care for mental health needs and young adults with physical and mental disabilities. Meadow View comprises a 12-bed specialist dementia unit, alongside two 8-bed units supporting older people who are elderly and frail, offering care in a calm, familiar and person-centred setting.
Each unit within Bandrum has its own dining area and lounge, creating welcoming communal spaces for meals, socialising and relaxation. In addition, there are plenty of quiet areas available throughout the home, offering residents the opportunity for privacy, reflection or time out when they choose.
We welcome enquiries and encourage families and individuals to contact us for an initial discussion, or to arrange an informal visit and a coffee in our café, providing the opportunity to meet the team and explore whether Bandrum is the right fit.

We support each resident to live in a way that reflects who they are, with a varied and inclusive programme of activities, outings and one-to-one experiences designed to enhance wellbeing, encourage independence and create meaningful connections.
Daily life at Bandrum offers a rich blend of social, creative and outdoor opportunities—from coffee mornings, music sessions and themed events to gentle exercise, woodland walks and time spent in our sensory garden. Residents can enjoy outings into the local community, take part in hobbies and creative projects, or simply relax and spend time in ways that feel most comfortable to them. Alongside group activities, we place equal importance on one-to-one engagement, ensuring everyone feels valued, included and supported.
Our approach is always person-centred and flexible, with residents supported to make choices about how they spend their time, while maintaining links with family, friends and the wider community. At Bandrum, meaningful activity is at the heart of our care, helping every resident experience purpose, connection, dignity and a true sense of home.
Our Wizard of Oz themed day truly felt like stepping into a little bit of magic. The room buzzed with excitement as familiar characters from the Yellow Brick Road came to life Dorothy sat proudly between the Tin Man and the Cowardly Lion while the Wicked Witch added a playful touch keeping everyone smiling. There was laughter all around as everyone got involved, embracing the fun and bringing the story to life in such a lovely, light-hearted way.
Outside, the barbecue was in full swing, with the smell of fresh food drifting through the air and drawing everyone together. Plates were piled high with tasty favourites, and our residents and staff got together to chat, relax and enjoy the moment.
From costumes to cooking every part of the day reminded us that the best adventures aren’t just found over the rainbow but right here in moments spent enjoying each other’s company.
