Nursing & Care Team

At the heart of Bandrum is our Nursing and Care Team — a compassionate, skilled group of professionals who are dedicated to delivering, person-centred care every day. Our Registered Nurses, Nurse Assistants, Senior Care Assistants and Care Assistants work closely together to support each individual with dignity, respect and kindness, offering both specialist clinical care and genuine human connection.

The team takes time to truly know the people they care for, understanding personal histories, preferences and needs, and building trusting relationships with residents and their families. Through commitment, professionalism and warmth, our Nursing and Care Team creates a safe, supportive and homely environment where individuals feel valued, listened to and cared for — not just clinically, but emotionally and socially as well.

Meet the Board Behind Bandrum

Our Board of Directors is closely involved in Bandrum’s strategic development and in overseeing the delivery and quality of care provided to our residents. Bringing decades of experience across health, care and leadership, they offer valuable insight, strong governance and direction. Above all, the Board maintains a deep commitment to Bandrum’s values, ensuring that compassionate, high-quality, person-centred care remains at the heart of everything we do.

Our Support Staff

Reception

Our Reception team is the welcoming heart of Bandrum, providing a friendly first point of contact for residents, families and visitors. They ensure communication is handled smoothly and professionally, offering reassurance, support and a warm welcome to everyone who enters the home.

Human Resources (HR)

Our HR function supports the people who make Bandrum what it is. From recruitment and training to staff wellbeing and development, the HR team ensures our workforce feels valued, supported and equipped to deliver high-quality, compassionate care.

Finance

The Finance team plays a vital role in ensuring Bandrum operates efficiently and sustainably. They manage financial processes with accuracy, transparency and professionalism, supporting the smooth running of the home and the continued delivery of high-quality care.

Digital & IT / Training Lead

The Digital & IT / Training Lead supports Bandrum’s use of technology to enhance care, communication and independence. They oversee digital systems, provide staff training and ensure technology is used safely and effectively to meet the needs of residents, staff and families.

Estates, Drivers and Grounds Team

Our Estates Team, alongside our Drivers and Groundsman, play a vital role in ensuring Bandrum runs smoothly, safely, and looks its very best at all times. From maintaining buildings and outdoor spaces to supporting day-to-day operations, their dedication and expertise create a welcoming and well-kept environment for everyone we support.

A key strength of this team is the strong collaboration between Estates, Drivers, and Grounds staff, particularly when it comes to delivering large-scale events and celebrations throughout the year. Working together seamlessly, they plan, prepare, and transform our spaces—handling everything from transport logistics and site setup to landscaping and safety preparations. Their combined efforts ensure that every event is not only well-organised but also enjoyable and accessible for all who attend.

This teamwork behind the scenes is essential to the success of our community activities, and their commitment, flexibility, and pride in their work make a lasting impact across Bandrums.
